Beach School

Our location provides access to the coastline of Redcar & Cleveland and North Yorkshire, creating opportunities for pupils to experience learning in coastal environments.

From den building and nature crafts to woodland exploration, problem-solving challenges and collaborative activities, pupils are encouraged to develop curiosity, creativity and confidence.

Through Beach School experiences, pupils develop:

• Confidence & Independence – exploring unfamiliar environments and trying new experiences.
• Communication & Teamwork – collaborating, sharing discoveries and developing relationships.
• Sensory Awareness & Regulation – experiencing different textures, sounds and natural surroundings.
• Environmental Understanding – discovering coastal habitats, wildlife and the importance of caring for our environment.
